91ÊÓÆµâ€™s new Institute for Applied Sustainability will team with Travel Southern Oregon and its statewide counterpart, Travel Oregon, to host a sustainable tourism training seminar on April 2, 2023, in Portland, Oregon, for travel industry professionals. The session is an opportunity for 91ÊÓÆµ to build its reputation as a respected and influential resource in Oregon for those interested in sustainable tourism.

Honors College: Chemistry Alumna Helps Advance Science

Gwendolyn Bogard ’20 grew up in the Philomath and Corvallis areas and loved her high school science courses and trips to the Oregon coast. She also enjoyed the performing arts, balancing her love of playing the violin and taking theatre courses as well. With her lab work in high school not so appealing, she focused on theatre arts as she looked for colleges.
